Ukrainian cryptocurrency neobank Trustee Plus announced the launch of a new virtual card, which will allow to pay with digital assets. The card was developed in cooperation with Mastercard international payment system.
The cryptocurrency card will be issued in the European Economic Area. It will be linked to the user’s cryptocurrency balance and will automatically transfer the euro equivalent to the merchant’s account when transactions are made. In the case of payment in Ukraine, the euro will be automatically converted into hryvnia at the Mastercard exchange rate.

According to representatives of the company, the card is primarily aimed at Ukrainians who have problems with access to banking services abroad. Cryptocard will help users to pay with digital assets, bypassing the obstacles associated with the limitations of banking services. In addition, Trustee Plus has decided to make the distribution of the first 5,000 virtual cards free. Users can register in the Trustee Plus app as well as in the state app “Dia” to get the card. Registration will be available until March 21.

According to representatives of the company, a one-time fee of about €10 will be charged for the use of the card in the future.
The new cryptocurrency card from Trustee Plus is another step in the development of cryptocurrency infrastructure in Ukraine. Earlier, several cryptocurrency exchanges and payment systems have already been launched that allow you to pay with digital assets.
