The cryptocurrency exchange Binance introduced restrictions for users of the P2P service in accordance with the tenth package of EU sanctions against Russia. These restrictions prohibit Russian citizens and individuals residing in the country from buying and selling dollars and euros on the Binance P2P platform. EU citizens are banned from accessing ruble transactions through the service. Instead, the exchange offers to use local currency for transactions. Binance representatives confirmed this information.

A Binance representative also added that users can choose other available fiat currencies to continue using the P2P service. However, for Russian citizens and individuals residing in the country, the choice of available fiat currencies may be limited due to sanctions. Binance continues to monitor the situation and modify its policies accordingly to comply with regulatory requirements.
